The Exe Valley Market Bus is based in Oakford and provides a scheduled service from Oakford to Tiverton via Stoodleigh, Washfield, Loxbeare, Lurley and Calverleigh on Tuesdays and Fridays.

It can also be booked for private hire by anyone in the community and is used regularly by local community organisations for trips.

This service has been in operation since 1977! For all those years it has been driven by volunteers from the local area and run by a voluntary committee.
